Hwarang Seoul has been actively engaged in meaningful community service for the past three years. Over time, our efforts have begun to show real results, and more students continue to join us, leading to even greater participation and impact.
Here are some of the key initiatives we've been involved in:
-
Eyeglass Donation Campaign
We collected unused eyeglass frames and repurposed them into reading glasses. These were then donated to elderly residents in need, helping to improve their quality of life. -
Youth Safety Mapping
In partnership with the Seocho District Office, we identified and mapped areas considered harmful or unsafe for youth. These reports were submitted to local authorities for improvement, contributing to a safer community. -
Plogging Along the Han River
On weekends, we participate in plogging along the Han River. This helps maintain a cleaner and more pleasant environment for everyone. -
Meal Support and Wellness Checks
We regularly prepare and deliver meals to underprivileged and disabled students, as well as to elderly individuals living alone. During each visit, we also check on their well-being, providing both practical support and emotional connection.
Hwarang Seoul is composed of students ranging from 6th to 12th grade, representing a diverse array of schools. Despite our differences, we have built a strong sense of unity and teamwork. We are proud of what we’ve accomplished so far—and even more excited about what lies ahead.
