BeWick is a Hwarang chapter based at Chadwick International, built on the belief that quiet actions can spark lasting change. Founded in 2024 after the division of HwarangWICK, BeWick has steadily grown through sincere efforts and a strong commitment to community service.
Over the past year, BeWick members have led a variety of initiatives-assembling care kits for low-income families, conducting local environmental improvement projects, providing educational support to underserved students, and partnering with animal shelters to promote compassionate care.
One of the most meaningful developments this year was the shift in our educational outreach. We transitioned from online tutoring with children on Baengnyeongdo Island to mentoring families of individuals with disabilities in Incheon. While Incheon is known for its relatively strong disability services, we recognized that the families themselves often face emotional and financial challenges that go unseen. Through this program, our members experienced the deeper purpose of service—not just teaching, but listening, connecting, and growing together.
The name BeWick reflects our mission: to be a small, steady light that quietly brightens the path for others. We continue our journey with compassion, purpose, and the belief that service can bring lasting change to both our communities and ourselves.
