My name is Yoomin Jung, and I'm the 2025-26 Gyeongin District Officer. Through my years of membership in Hwarang, I was able to provide a wide spectrum of services to my community, such as tutoring children in school subjects, teaching English and Korean to Ukrainian students online, and taking care of the elderly. Thanks to Hwarang, I learned how to see service to others not as a task to fill my hours, but as something meaningful for both the giver and the recipient. Now, as the Gyeongin District Officer, I hope to carry forward this perspective by sharing my experiences with the chapters in our district. The Gyeongin District includes three chapters: WickUs and BeWick from Chadwick International, Incheon, and Sena from Korea International School, Seongnam. By supporting these chapters, I hope to help others discover the same fulfillment and purpose that I found through service.
I am committed to fostering unity across these chapters through collaborative events, open communication, and mutual support. I hope to be able to demonstrate fair and transparent leadership and guide the chapters to connection and shared success.
